
David Campbell
PresidentDavid Campbell is the President of Jupia Consultants Inc., an economic development consulting and research firm based in New Brunswick. Previously, he was Chief Economist with the Government of New Brunswick. In that role, he led the development of economic growth and people attraction strategies for the provincial government.
David has more than 25 years’ experience as a consultant working with industry, not-for-profit organizations and governments across Canada. He has strengths in economic impact analysis, people attraction/workforce development, return on taxpayer investment analysis, sector development and investment attraction. His client list ranges from small municipalities to large multinational firms. In Nova Scotia, David has worked with more than two dozen clients ranging from firms such as Emera, Meta Materials and LED Roadway, economic development organization including the Halifax Partnership and many Regional Enterprise Networks and communities such as CBRM and the Municipality of Clare.
In recent years, he has had the opportunity to collaborate with multiple think tanks and policy research organizations including the Conference Board of Canada, Public Policy Forum, Donald J. Savoie Institute at the Université de Moncton and the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Migration and Integration at Ryerson University in Toronto.
He is the Chair of the Board of Directors of the United Way of Greater Moncton and Southeastern New Brunswick and on the Executive of the Board of the Multicultural Association of Greater Moncton. David is a published author, long time columnist with Brunswick News and the co-host of the weekly Insights Podcast with Don Mills.
