While our history reaches back over 20 years, SEA was launched in 2013 to better reflect its mandate of providing a forum for everyone interested in the economy and/or economic innovation, including those from business, industry, agriculture, resources, finance, politics, nonprofits and academia.

What We Do

Maybe it’s the “get it done” attitude of the people of Saskatchewan, or maybe it’s our relatively small population base, but we’re proud of the number and variety of opportunities we offer our members and guests to connect, network and exchange information, ideas and perspectives.

  • The Annual Conference – It’s the largest gathering of economists and interested parties in Saskatchewan.
  • Meet & Greets – Held occasionally throughout the year, our meet and greets are a great way to interact in a casual yet informative way. Presenters at each event offer topical news and views.
  • University Partnerships – From co-hosting functions to getting their involvement in the annual conference, we look to involve local universities in many of our activities.

Where We Are Growing

Spreading the Word
We enjoy a solid reputation and recognition simply through the referrals and recommendations of our members. We are building on that to bring the benefits of membership to a wider community of professionals.

Be a Reliable Resource for Members
From professional development opportunities, information, advice and data, we have the opportunity to offer or member individuals and organizations an unrivalled resource for unique insights into the economics and the economy of Saskatchewan.
