Nina Gormanns
Director, Environmental Taxation and Policy, Finance CanadaNina Gormanns is the Director of the Environmental Taxation and Policy section with the Department of Finance Canada. Her team is responsible for the federal fuel charge, and federal excise taxes on fuels, among others. Nina has worked on the design and implementation of the federal carbon pollution pricing policy since 2016. Prior to that, Nina worked as a Senior Research Analyst at the Canadian Federation of Independent Business. She obtained a Master of Science in International Economic Studies from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. Nina also serves as a Board member of the Ottawa Economics Association.
