Konrad Zmitrowicz is a Senior Policy Advisor in the Canadian Economic Analysis Department (CEA) of the Bank of Canada, helping to oversee the production of the Bank’s Monetary Policy Report. Konrad has an extensive background in analyzing commodity markets as well as monitoring and forecasting the Canadian and US economies. Konrad previously served as the Director of the International Projection Division (IPD), where his focus was on producing the quarterly global macroeconomic outlook. Konrad holds an MA in economics from Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Manitoba.
