Director - Trade and Economic Analysis, Office of the Chief Economist, Global Affairs CanadaAaron Sydor is Director of Trade and Economic Analysis within the Office of the Chief Economist at Global Affairs Canada. Aaron has authored studies on Canada-U.S. economic relations, global value chains, offshoring/outsourcing, and the internationalization of SMEs. He edited two research volumes: NAFTA@10 and Global Value Chains – Impacts and Implications and is the recipient of the numerous awards including the Queen’s Golden Jubilee Medal, and in 2013/14 was Canada Fulbright Scholar at Duke University.
