AAAE Webinar: From Models to Markets: How Quantitative Trade Analysis Informs Strategy and Decision-Making
This presentation explores how EDC leverages quantitative methods to translate trade data into actionable insight, supporting trade diversification in an increasingly complex global environment. Using methods like gravity models and comparative advantage, we illustrate how research and models can help identify opportunities, assess risks, and guide decisions. We’ll share simple examples of how these tools are used in practice externally and internally. Overall, the session highlights how we use trade analytics to make a complex global environment easier to understand and act on.
