AAAE/CABE Webinar: Navigating 2025: Steering Through Policy Uncertainty to Provincial Growth
2025 is set to be a year of recovery for all Canadian provinces, with increased consumption and investment unlocked by the Bank of Canada’s rate cuts. However, policy uncertainties pose significant risks to this year’s expansion. The federal government’s immigration policy changes will impact population growth and, consequently, growth ranking across the provinces. Trade uncertainties introduced by the new U.S. administration add another layer of complexity. Despite these challenges, growth prospects remain strong. The Atlantic provinces have seen historically high population growth over the past two years, and this trend will continue to influence economic growth and housing in the coming year.
