CABE Webinar: StatCan Series – Decoding the impact of trade wars: how trade statistics can reveal the depth and breadth of economic shocks
Canada’s export-driven economy is deeply integrated with U.S. production. Dramatic threats to our trade relationship in 2025 may result in profound changes in 2026, reshaping long-term trends. How much trade diversification has occurred, and how might it unfold? Statistics Canada produces different merchandise import and export statistics series, using different concepts. This presentation will help users identify the most relevant data sets for their analysis.
