Martin Pinnes admits he has never done standup comedy about economics before, but we admit we find him very funny. By day he is the Chief Operating Officer of Shared Tower Inc., a telecommunications infrastructure developer based in Ontario. Prior to Shared Tower, Martin worked as the Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development at FlexNetworks, and as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Canada Pension Plan Investment Board, overseeing investments in telecommunications. He started out as a mergers and acquisitions analyst for Merrill Lynch in the midst of the global financial crisis, hence the sense of humour.
