Senior Economist, Social Analysis and Modelling Division, Statistics CanadaRené Morissette is a senior economist in the Social Analysis and Modelling Division of Statistics Canada. Over the last few years, he has analyzed a wide range of issues related to the Canadian labour market such as income and wealth inequality, worker displacement, youth employment, and changes in the Canadian wage structure. His research currently focuses on telework and on the impact of local economic conditions on workers’ outcomes.
