Ruth Lavergne is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Dalhousie University and holds a Tier II Canada Research Chair in Primary Care. Her research uses health system data from across Canada to study the impact of policy changes and inform service planning, with the goal of making sure primary care organization, delivery, and workforce can meet population needs now and in the future. She leads studies that use linked administrative data in collaboration with qualitative researchers, community members, clinicians and policymakers.
