
Vincent Hardy
Chief, Quality of Employment, Centre for Labour Market Information, Statistics CanadaVincent Hardy is the Chief of the quality of employment section at the Centre for Labour Market Information at Statistics Canada. He leads the development of content for the Labour Force Survey supplements program, as well as research and analysis on quality of employment and forms of employment. Vincent obtained his PhD in sociology from the University of Cambridge in 2020 and has more than 10 years of research experience related to labour market insecurity and quality of employment. In recent years, he has contributed to international efforts to better understand and measure emerging forms of employment. He led an in-depth review on the measurement of new forms of employment for the Conference of European Statisticians in 2020-2021 and was a contributor and the main editor of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe’s Handbook on Forms of Employment, published in 2022.
