Join Kelvin Ndoro from CMHC’s Market Insights Team for a presentation on the Housing Market Outlook (HMO) report with a focus on Halifax and expected trends in other Atlantic Canada provinces.
The report, released on April 21, 2022 provides a forward-looking analysis of Canada’s housing markets. Published annually, it helps anticipate emerging trends in the new-home and resale markets at the national and metropolitan-area levels. The HMO include forecasts for significant housing market variables such as housing starts, prices and resales. Kelvin will share CMHC’s forecast for Halifax and the factors behind them.

Kelvin Ndoro is a Senior Analyst, Economics with the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC). He is part of a team that provides economic insights to better understand, solve and strengthen current and future challenges in the housing system. He also actively contributes to housing related discussions through public speaking and media engagements. Prior to joining CMHC, he worked with the Nova Scotia government in different roles. The last role being as a Senior Economist with the Department of Labour and Advanced Education.
