In this post-pandemic time, Manitoba manufacturers continue to face a variety of supply chain and labour force challenges, with differences across subsectors. There are also opportunities for Manitoba manufacturers. Hear from Ron Koslowsky, Divisional Vice President with the Canadian Manufacturers and Exporters talk about some of these challenges and opportunities facing their members in 2023.

Ron Koslowsky Divisional Vice President, Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters and Made Safe Ron Koslowsky

Ron Koslowsky is a business leader with various roles (Manitoba and BC) in, construction, insurance, business consulting, and manufacturing spending 20 years at Palliser (VP Human Resources) and supporting their growth to 5,000 employees.

His board experiences include Canadian Manufacturers & Exporters (CME – MB and Canada), WCB, Red River College, Apprenticeship Manitoba, Workplace Education Manitoba, and Composite Innovation Centre.

Ron has led CME Manitoba since 2007, representing manufacturing – an industry that contributes 10 per cent of Manitoba’s GDP, employs 60,000 Manitobans and generated nearly $10B in sales in 2020. Ron has expanded CME’s services to help companies grow, leading a team of 40 dedicated to business services, productivity, safety and more.

He enjoys participating in public policy and improving the business environment, education, health care, and other areas applying a continuous improvement approach. Reading and innovative discussions help him shape best practices.

Ron is married and has 4 children and 7 grandchildren.
